The Hadal Zone is the deepest and least explored part of the ocean. Although treacherous to life, many extremophiles inhabit this region, most of which exhibit bioluminescence in their physiology. We've created a series of optical projection surfaces that when kinetically activated in the presence of projected light, reimagine lifeforms found in the deep ocean. The soundtrack is a reimagining of sonic emanations from the Hadal zone, deep aquatic textures produced from field recordings and processed through modular synths. Ultimately, we’ve created our own cinematic world, evoking the profound sense of mystery the Hadal leaves with us.
