cocoon | intermedia performance | 2022

cocoon explores the blurred boundaries between body, hat, projections, sound and space. The architectural hat was designed as a collaboration between Aileyan Accessories and Yoko Murakami in 2018, and is given new life as an all white canvas to take on video projections by Testu Collective. This site-specific installation will invite the audience into a surreal world of delay and distortion; which will be activated by original sounds by Serena Stucke, video by Dan Tesene, and movement performance by Yoko Murakami.
