ars electronica | intermedia performance | plaxall gallery, nyc | 2021
testu’s untitled project for ars electronica is an ode to the imperfect, mysterious beauty of the sonic and visual manifestations from electricity.
the visuals for this project employ self generating systems of tin chloride, which manifest as branching tin structures when exposed to an electric current. serena stucke created sonic worlds from invisible electromagnetic fields through sensitive emf antennas that are modulated through modular synths, bringing more rhythmic patterns to the recordings.
